Welcome to Oli Journal. Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use our journaling application.

2 Information We Collect

We may collect the following data in future versions of the app:

• Account information (email address, profile name) if cloud sync or account features are introduced
• Crash logs and diagnostics for app performance improvements
• Device information for bug fixing and stability

3 How We Use Your Information

Currently, no data is collected. If data collection is introduced in future versions, it will be used solely to:

• Provide cloud sync across your devices
• Improve app stability and fix bugs
• Respond to support requests

4 Data Storage and Security

All your journal data is stored locally on your device. We use no external servers at this time. Oli Journal additionally offers an optional app-level password and biometric lock for an extra layer of privacy. We strongly recommend enabling your device's built-in security features such as screen lock, biometrics, and device encryption.

When cloud sync is introduced, we will use industry-standard encryption to protect your data and will update this policy accordingly.

5 Third-Party Services

Oli Journal currently uses no third-party analytics, advertising, crash reporting, or tracking services. If third-party services are integrated in the future, this policy will be updated to reflect that before any such integration goes live.

6 Children's Privacy

Oli Journal is designed for personal and family use, including use by children under the supervision of a parent or guardian. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children under 13.

If you believe your child has inadvertently provided personal information through the app, please contact us at olijournalapp@gmail.com and we will address it promptly.

7 Your Rights

Since we do not collect or hold any of your personal data, there is nothing for us to retrieve, correct, or delete on our end. You have complete ownership and control of your data at all times.

You can export or delete your journal entries directly within the app at any time. You may also delete the app, which will permanently remove all locally stored data from your device.

8 Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when new features are introduced. We will notify users of significant changes by updating the Last Updated date at the top of this page and via an in-app notice. We will never introduce data collection practices without your explicit informed consent.
